Truly outstanding service from start to finish. Abbas and his colleague managed expectations incredibly well from the outset, setting out the plan of action and potential drawbacks of options available. His price was very reasonable and his timings and workmanship were spot on. He went the extra mile to ensure a boiler which I had recently fitted (not by him) was warranted and suitable for the long term plans we have in store. He was incredibly cautious around the house, advising on progress periodically and took extra care to make sure no damage to any carpets or peripherals. I’ll be using him again for future works, especially with a major renovation project on the way. A huge thanks once again Abbas for your help, dedication and hard work!

My central heating had stopped working and Abbas came out to have a look. He was quick to identify the issue and promptly advised me on what was required in order to get the boiler to working condition. While waiting to get the go order for the parts required and to be fitted, Abbas was in constant communication with me, providing absolutely fantastic service, he went above and beyond expectations. On the day of repair, the parts were fitted with no issues and smooth sailing. From start to finish, Abbas was very professional and knowledgeable providing me advice when i was quoted a very high price from a national firm, alway with a friendly demeanour. Great service from Aqua Gas Protocol. Abbas was very professional and gave good advice regarding the problem with my combi boiler. I will be using them again in the future as they were much better than any previous company I have dealt with. Abbas spoke to me on Friday and came over at an earlier time today as I had work meetings. He heard the issues I had been having with boiler and instantly knew the issue with the expansion vessel and valve. He drained the current one of excess water as a temporary fix and we have heat plus hot water without a drop in pressure!! Before he went he gave us the potential solution and will be providing us a quote. Both Abbas and his colleague Taher were professional and polite and bonus they didn’t use their shoes on the carpet!!

I was recommended Abbas/Aqua Gas Protocol by my brother. He called me as soon as he was free and popped over within 2 days to survey and provide me with a quote. He took his time to explain the issue that he believed I had. I was already 90% sure that I wanted a new boiler as my old one was 16 years old. However, he still recommended that although he wouldn’t repair the boiler due to the age of it and his availability, depending on my budget, I could potentially get my boiler fixed by another engineer if I didn’t have the funds to have a brand new one fitted, which was nice to know as it showed that he wasn’t forcing me to have a new one fitted or even use his services. This is because he knows that he gets his customers through his reputation and quality of his services and not by forcing customers to use his services. He went through the pros and cons of me having my boiler repaired rather than replaced, he took his time explaining different boilers, recommending what kW boiler I should go for and what brand, and he didn’t even recommend the most expensive one and explained why. Within less than 24 hours he sent over a quote for one of the best Vaillant boilers currently on the market. He also sent links to other boilers for me to have a look at that would save me some money but also explained why he would recommend the one that he quoted me for. I even asked him to quote for a slightly cheaper model but in the end I ended up going for the one that he recommended due to the reviews online and his reasons for recommending that particular boiler. The quote was actually the cheapest of three quotes that I had from other engineers but to be completely honest even if Abbas matched the other quotes or was slightly more expensive I still would’ve chosen to have him fit the boiler due to his level of knowledge and the way he respected me and treated me from the minute I contacted him. What was even better was that Abbas actually had availability in 5 days time to fit my new boiler. He placed the order for me straight away, continually kept me updated to let me know when the boiler would be delivered and as I was working away from home on the delivery day, he picked the boiler up for me and brought it along with him on the day he came to fit it which was really convenient. 2 days before he was due to fit the boiler he dropped me a message to double check timings as he knew I was busy and my plans may have changed with work. On the day of fitting he kept me up to date to let me know how he was getting on with other jobs and what time he would arrive at my place, which allowed me to plan my day accordingly. The job was done so quickly and efficiently and Abbas covered all of my flooring so he didn’t make the floor or surfaces around him dirty. He took the old boiler with him and cleaned everything up before he left. Once the boiler was fitted, Abbas completed all the necessary gas checks and checked that all of my radiators were now heating up. He took my details and sent over the warranty and certificates via email whilst he was there and then he showed me how to use the boiler and recommended what setting I should use to prolong the life of the boiler and keep my running costs efficient. The next day and a few days later he messaged me to check in and ask how I was getting on with the boiler and if I had any questions, which was nice of him to do. All in all Abbas did an absolutely brilliant job, an efficient job and a clean job. But the main thing for me was that he was extremely knowledgable and “being human”; by this I mean that he didn’t just treat me like any other client - he treated me with respect, he understood me, he was honest and he was just an all round genuine person who took his time to explain everything, answered all of my questions and never rushed showing or explaining anything. He felt more like a friend doing a job for me than a supplier. I have already recommended Abbas to my sister and I will certainly continue recommending Abbas and Aqua Gas Protocol to everyone else!

The engineer was very friendly and professional. My boiler was installed by a cowboy but he made sure to take his time to tell me everything I could do to correct it and ensure it passed installation. He was pretty quick to install the smart nest device and once we recover from the sham builders, we will use him again to correct the faults.
